El Barzon Restaurante has been a staple to the City of Detroit since 2007, Serving both Traditional Mexican and Traditional Italian dishes, We are 3 miles from Little Cesar’s Arena, Comerica Park, And Ford Field. Chef/Owner Norberto Garita was able to obtain his Culinary experience working in Manhattan N.Y. Later moving to Michigan where he worked at the Famously (now closed) Il Posto Ristorante Italiano. Chef Norberto is a 2 time nominee for a James Beard Award for the best chef of the Greater lakes region competing with well-known chefs from Chicago, Indiana, and Ohio.
